Dispan was founded in 1973 to sell and deliver yeast and additives for baking. Carefully and specifically choosing business partners and dedicating attention to every client have been the key features of this project, bringing the company continuous, and sustained growth. It has gradually increased the range of products it offers for baking and the restaurant industry.

The strong momentum keeping up with its partners’ constant challenges has allowed Dispan to increase its area of work to Aveiro, Santarém and Castelo Branco. To satisfy demand and efficiently respond to all services, there was a strategic need to innovate and expand, and we moved to new headquarters located in the S. Miguel de Poiares industrial park, which houses all the facilities and human resources necessary to provide solutions to the market.

Dispan also has a Technical Centre for Food where it carries out tests on a range of products, using new techniques, and organises training sessions for clients and employees, reflecting the company’s excellence and competitiveness.

Always on the front line for quality, rigour and professionalism, Dispan is proud to be an SME Leader, with Quality and Food Safety Management Systems certified by Standards NP EN ISO 9001:2008 and NP EN ISO 22000:2005 respectively.
